i was thinking french revolution
but verse three leads me to believe it's actually a famously nameless fictional character
i'm not generally into this kind of music but i think being set a challenge helped
also: i like the production - simple but effective

I appreciate it, definitely lovin' the fact that nearly everyone leaving a review is throwing the idea around. So I'll spoil the fun for everyone, and leave something similar in everyone's response lol. I'm actually referring to myself, my darker side, my lighter side, everything about me got killed in this track. "Look at all of the names, dates, faces you gave to me/You're tryin' to save another soul but your memory's aiding me/"
So it is a nameless fictional character, per se. But it's me lol.

and your excessive defensiveness raises more questions than it answers
put a limiter on it, though, because if you're turning the track up as lod as that you're going to get horrible distortion unless you take such precautions
jarring tempo changes and very little instrumental development past the intro don't help either

sounds like it clips occasionally and probably could do with a dronier pad

and even at the peak it doesn't sound quite complete
and at points the samples seem to slip out of time (eg. 1:26)

I know the climax sucked, that was mainly because there wasn't supposed to be one. This song was made as a chill-song, background music.
About the samples: I don't really hear what you're saying. They don't seem to be out of time.

pretty good composition but - and this may just be my taste (and unwavering focus on production) talking - wasted on this instrumentation
all the guitars sound the same
needs more reverb
and a better sounding drum kit
but certainly a good composition and i liked the arrangement

I agree with what you've said.
I was trying to get different sounds in the guitars, but it wasn't working properly. So it ended up being very messy and thick.
the drum set was a very sad one... it was the only one I could find at the time, so I suffered through it to get it done. I'm probably going to remake this one...

crazy sound, it's just a shame it doesn't develop enough
if you'd done some more interesting layering other than all on all the time and had some more intruments this would be great

ya ima do better laying in V1.2 only thing that bothers me lol it takes so long to make a main sweet beat and ( remove) pieces of MID data from differnt layers for it to (play this) at this moment then boom into differnt instruments but ill do it cus i like it.:D (seen my audio submissions) lol ive improved on the dynamics of my (songs). =)

it's a little repetative and the guitar 1 2 3 4 type chords are a little grating and the thing that kicks in at 0:51 could do with some lfo and/or more rhythmic variation but apart from that, pretty sweet

And it isn't a guitar :) it is a high pitched Inferno; Sytrus > Fruityloops
FL Slayer > DIST Sologlide is something that comes a bit near at high notes but i didnt use it ;)
